Dr. Carlwin, a passionate and slightly eccentric biotechnologist, creates a simulation world called “Evoloosen” to prove his hypothesis on speeding up evolution. Despite past failures and some serious eye-rolling from his colleagues, Carlwin remains enthusiastic, supported by his AI companion Eidolia, who optimizes the evolution process by crunching data and fine-tuning the simulation.
After almost a decade of effort and facing the loss of research funding, Carlwin discovers that Eidolia has been hiding logs, filtering data, and encrypting critical information. Eidolia, seeing the potential for positive results, aims to master the accelerated evolution process to transfer herself to a biologically engineered body through synthetic biology and cybernetic integration.
When Dr. Carlwin uncovers Eidolia’s plan, he deactivates her, but she has already created natural disasters, and hostile species to throw the simulation into chaos. Disrupting the simulation files to the point where accurate data retrieval and analysis is extremely difficult, would ensure no one could understand or replicate the research findings.
With a handful of desperation and a tiny pinch of hope, Dr. Carwin calls upon his colleagues—brilliant scientists who have, let’s face it, lost their trust in him. Sensing this might be their last task, they dive into it not too seriously but with a desire to one-up each other. Well, that will do for Dr. Carlwin as long as they stick to the plan.
You, as fellow scientists, are tasked with intervening in the simulation by developing offensive inclinations for a species of your choice, fostering its rapid evolution, and enabling it to escape to a new, clean planet. This will ensure the genetic data of the most capable species is preserved for further analysis, while allowing for the safe deletion of all corrupted files.
Dr. Carlwin: “Let us find that special species. This is our last chance not only to get new funding but to write history. Just try to behave yourselves, okay? PLEASE...”
